What is Body Contouring?

Let’s start by telling you what body contouring isn’t. Body contouring is not a weight loss solution. Body contouring procedures are designed to help people to remove stubborn fat pockets that can’t be removed through exercise and diet. In other words, body contouring focuses on fat reduction by targeting fat cells from certain areas of your body.

Every person has a certain number of fat cells in their body. The number of fat cells we have in our body is fixed and cannot be changed. This means that when you gain weight, you don’t produce additional fat cells. You just enlarge the fat cells you already have. As soon as you start losing weight, the same fat cells will start to get smaller. And this is how gaining and losing weight actually works!

While you cannot add additional fat cells to your body, you can remove and destroy them. For good! Body contouring procedures eliminate fat cells from your body without any way for them to regenerate or be replaced. As soon as you “attack” those stubborn fat deposits through body sculpting techniques, you will be able to enhance your natural shape!

Non-Invasive Fat Reduction

Ultrasonic cavitation and Radio frequency technology are two non-invasive techniques widely used to eliminate stubborn and unwanted fat without the need to under go surgery.

Ultrasonic cavitation, also known as ultrasound cavitation, involves the utilization of ultrasonic waves and vibrations to disrupt fat cells beneath the skin's surface. This approach offers a non-surgical and low-risk solution for diminishing cellulite and localized fat deposits.

This procedure involves applying pressure on fat cells through ultrasonic vibrations. This pressure reaches a level where fat cells disintegrate into a liquefied state and the body can subsequently eliminate this liquified fat as waste through the urinary system.

Ultrasound cavitation achieves its maximum efficacy in reducing surplus fat when combined with regular exercise and a well-balanced diet. It is a favored alternative to more invasive methods of fat reduction. However, it's crucial to recognize that reverting to a high-calorie diet could lead to weight regain.

Risks: While ultrasonic cavitation is generally regarded as a safe approach, akin to any medical intervention, it is not without its potential risks and adverse effects.

Some potential temporary side effects of ultrasonic cavitation include:

  • Sensations of Discomfort: Certain individuals might encounter sensations of discomfort during the procedure, especially if the ultrasound waves are concentrated on a delicate region of the body.

  • Occurrence of Bruises: In very rare circumstances some individuals might develop skin bruises subsequent to undergoing ultrasonic cavitation, although such discolouration is typically temporary, vanishing within one to two weeks.

  • Incidence of Swelling: Swelling may manifest as a consequence of fluid accumulation within tissues, leading to a swollen or tender sensation in the treated region. However, this side effect is usually temporary and should resolve within a few days.

NOTE: The risks and side effects of ultrasonic cavitation may vary depending on the individual and the specific procedure. It is always a good idea to speak with a healthcare professional before starting any new treatment.

Results:

Since the procedure is customized according to an individual's needs, it might take longer for some than others. However, a minimum of 6 sessions is recommended for optimal results. Each session is around 40 to 60 minutes depending on body part. It takes about 6 to 12 weeks to see the results of ultrasonic cavitation.

Ultrasonic cavitation is a safe FDA approved procedure. Since the procedure is non-invasive, there is no downtime needed. The destroyed fat cells do not grow back. The results of ultrasonic cavitation can last with continued weight maintenance activities.

Ultrasonic cavitation should not be used as a replacement for doing physical exercises.

Skin Tightening

Derived from the scientific concept of Radiofrequency (RF), radiofrequency treatment offers a non-surgical avenue for refining the contours of the body and face beneath the skin's outermost layer. This technique employs advanced devices meticulously crafted to address prevalent skin aging concerns in both men and women, including wrinkles, surplus fatty tissue, and cellulite.

Utilizing radiofrequency waves, which essentially manifest as heat energy, this method serves the purpose of remodeling tissue and stimulating the synthesis of elastin and fresh collagen. In contrast to intrusive procedures that primarily impact the surface layers of the skin, the resultant heat generated by Radiofrequency treatment primarily targets the skin's deepest stratum, the dermis, while sparing the upper layers such as the epidermis.

As heat is a stimulation that promotes contraction of the underlying tissues, especially at the dermis level, soft tissues found within that area of the body compress, realign, and even produce new collagen, a process that normally takes many months to complete. With healthy new collagen present from the deepest level of the skin, exposing such soft tissues to further Radiofrequency waves help sculpt and tighten those tissues into a more youthful and elastic surface.

Risks:

Common side effects include redness on the skin, mild swelling/infammation. Rare side effects include oversensitivity of treated area, sinking in of treated area, blistering/bruising, burn.

Vacuum Butt Lift

The vacuum therapy butt lift procedure is a revolutionary new method for clients to help tighten and tone the glutes, while also breaking down unwanted fatty tissue deposits and cellulite. Vacuum therapy stimulates muscles and breaks down cellulite and fatty deposits which eliminates toxins, therefore improving lymphatic drainage.

The vacuum therapy butt lift works through the application of specialized suction cups along the patients buttocks, helping to correct, tone, and tighten the gluteus muscles. We begin by placing the suction cups along the buttocks for a period of 20-30 minutes, at which time, we increase the pressure based on the client’s tolerance. The procedure is painless and should not cause any traumatic effect to the skin.

The ideal candidate for a non-surgical butt lift is a healthy patient who is close to their ideal weight. This is not a weight loss procedure but rather an enhancement treatment. Butt cupping will not remove excess weight from your buttocks. It aims to tighten and sculpt the tissue, creating a lifted, firm appearance.

Someone who has a lot of loose skin on the treatment area is NOT a good candidate for Vacuum Butt Lift.

Results: Considering the procedure is a non-invasive procedure, it is important to understand that the results will definitely  be different from a full-fledged surgical butt lift, however, most clients are extremely satisfied with their results. After a number of sessions, generally 6-12, clients can expect to see increased size, improved tone, and much improved texture to the glutes. While many women experienced sagging backside as they age, the vacuum but lift can help women to raise their buttocks giving them a youthful, gravity-defying look. Following the original 6-12 sessions, we recommend clients have maintenance procedures performed every month order to maintain your fabulous results.

Risks: Mild bruising, redness in treatment area, numbness in the treated area, and soreness of treated area. Blistering may also occur.
